Nortel honored the achievements of Glow Networks with the Diversity Supplier of the Year -2005 Award. The award was presented during the recent annual Nortel Networks Supplier Forum held in Ottawa, Canada, on March 7 and 8, 2006, and attended by top executives from around the world, representing the Company’s 180 Strategic and Preferred suppliers. Most of Nortel’s executive management, including Mike Zafirovski, Nortel President and CEO, was present for the Supplier Forum to present the Company’s strategies and direction.
The words that were spoken during the Glow Award Presentation: Glow Networks supports a broad range of engineering services for Nortel, providing qualified, capable resources and services. They achieved the status as being the top performing North America Order Engineering services supplier with the highest score for these services and obtained top scores for all performance criteria categories throughout 2005.
The support provided by Glow Networks was not limited to North America. In a testament to their overall service capability to Nortel, they provided engineering services to key projects for Nortel in India and Pakistan. Nortel enjoys a very successful services relationship with Glow Networks because of all that they bring to the table; the fact that they are a certified diversity supplier is simply a bonus for our overall relationship.
